In this photoshoot I combined my life-long pursuit of capturing romance and fantasy with my love for dark and edgy fashion.
I am always looking for an excuse to use the enormous skirts in my client closet, so when I saw the stone archway in Amsterdam's Amstelpark, I had an Evanescence-inspired vision of a woman in a black dress posing amongst the stone pillars.
I got in touch with a local model who was equally excited about my concept, and we worked to make my vision a reality.
When she stepped into the enormous skirt her energy was palpable (it's impossible not to feel like a bit of a bad-ass when wearing it).
